Earth initially entered the manufacturing industry in 1997 producing transformers. The company has since grown significantly and now includes factories producing thermal cut offs, printed circuit boards and temperate sensors.
Earth factories are located in South Dagon Industrial Zone. In-house training facilities in these factories ensure consistent quality and efficiency throughout the production process.
The factory has close to 1400 employees working in the South Dagon Industrial Zone.
The factory is conveniently located 30 min drive from the Yangon International
Thilawa seaport is only a 45 minute drive away from the main factories.
It only takes 40 minutes to get to the commercial district in downtown Yangon.
In December 1997 Earth Industrial (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. was founded and the transformer-manufacturing factory was opened.
In July 1999, production started in the thermal cut offs manufacturing factory.
In September 2000, operations started in the Printed Circuit Board Assembly
In June 2013, the temperature sensor factory was established.
In October 2015, ETEC Earth Tamura Electronic Co. Ltd (ETEC) was formed as a joint venture between Earth and Tamura Corporaton Japan, following 17 years of successful partnership.
Production techniques are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that Earth factories are using the most up to date manufacturing techniques.
This ensures that production lines are efficient and produce goods of a consistently high standard.
