With Myanmar’s increasingly rapid development, CEO Ma Khine Zaw established Earth to meet the previously untapped potential of Myanmar’s industrial and trading sector.
In the last 20 years, Earth group has grown to include the industrial sector, the IT sector, the trading and distribution sector, the civil construction sector, and the logistics sector.

She was born in 1955 in Yangon, the former capital city of Myanmar. At the age of intermediate student, she was sent to Japan by her late father, a local representative for Kanematsu-Gosho Ltd. for taking up an internship training. After returning from Japan, she helped working with her father. However, not long after her father’s passing away, she initiated in running her own business independently by establishing a company named “Earth Trading Co., Ltd.”. In December 1997, she established a transformer manufacturing factory of “Earth Industrial (Myanmar) Co., Ltd.” for re-export to Tamura Corporation of Japan. Later in next two years, another Thermal Cut-offs manufacturing factory was established. Then, a printed circuit board assembly (power supply) factory was also established in the month of September 2000. Earth’s factories have been accredited ISO 9001 quality management system since the year 1997. Apart from manufacturing factories, other companies were also established such as Earth Construction and Heavy Machineries Group in 1992, Myanmar Peninsular Freight Co., Ltd. in 1999, Earth Computer Systems Co., Ltd. in 2000 (later it was reformed into Earth Renewable Energy Co., Ltd.).Earth Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. was awarded ASEAN Energy Award 2014: off-grid stand alone solar system.
In the early year of 2015, her Myanmar Peninsular Freight Co., Ltd. JV with a world recognized global logistic service provider K Line. She was awarded the ASEAN Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs. As of today, all companies are under the same roof of Earth Group of Companies. She is an advisor to Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Association (MWEA), executive committee member of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce (UMFCCI) and executive committee member of Myanmar Industries Association (MIA).
